How BASE works
Everything you need in one page: the idea, the walkthrough, the people at the table and what each screen does.
BASE is not one assistant pretending to be nine people. It's a room of separate executives, each with its own expertise, priorities and appetite for risk, who answer your question privately and then argue about it in front of you. A strong company doesn't need everyone to agree — it needs honest disagreement, evidence, a real debate and then a decision. You make the decision.
- 01
Tell the team about your business
On the home page, fill in your business name, what you sell, who your customers are, your budget and your goals. Every executive reads this before they say a word, so the more honest it is, the sharper the advice. You can add mission, metrics, risks and assumptions on the company brief page.
Company brief - 02
Seat your executives
The CEO chair is yours and always free. Add the specialists you want around the table — each one costs $20 a month and brings its own expertise, priorities and risk tolerance. Remove anyone at any time and the monthly total updates itself. New here? Take the free session first: pick any three and run one meeting free.
Executives - 03
Start an executive meeting
Go to the table, press start, and write the actual decision you're stuck on — a proposal, a price change, a hire, a pivot. Pick a meeting mode depending on how much depth you want. Then send it.
Executive table - 04
Round one: private analysis
Each executive answers alone and cannot see anyone else's answer. You get a position, a confidence score, the reasoning, the evidence, the risks, the assumptions, an alternative and a question back for you. This is what stops them all parroting each other.
- 05
Round two: the table opens
All positions are revealed at once and the executives argue. They challenge each other's numbers and assumptions, and you'll see exactly where the disagreement is and what kind it is — a fact, an assumption, a priority, a risk appetite or a strategy clash.
- 06
Speak up whenever you want
Use the CEO message box at any point: "CFO, explain that number." "Quant, challenge Marketing." "CTO and Product, settle this." "Everyone stop, I want a new proposal." "Vote again now that you've heard this." You run the room.
- 07
The vote and your decision
Everyone votes — strongly approve through strongly oppose — with confidence, their main reason, the biggest risk and what would change their mind. You get a decision report and then you choose: approve, reject, modify, or ask for more analysis. You can go against the whole room; it's recorded as an override, with your reason if you want to leave one.
Decisions - 08
Track what actually happened
Every decision is logged with the date, the question, the positions, the vote, your call and the expected outcome. Come back later and record what really happened. Analytics then shows which executives are actually right over time — agreeing with you earns nobody credit.
